I Have Been Away For A While

If you were a regular reader of my blog you may have noticed that I have not been around for a few months, there are a couple of reasons for me neglecting you all.

If you remember I had been going through a bad time and had kind of lost my motivation, it came back for a little while but then I lost it again, plus I have had a couple more friends pass away over the summer (which did not help) so I took a step back from my online business and went back to a summer job in the Tourist industry here in Crete where I live.

The summer season has now finished and the last of the tourists have left the island, and I now feel refreshed and ready to start again, I know I will have to begin to build up relationships with my readers again but I feel that I am ready to do this.

It was a pretty good season and I think most of the stores, hotels and restaurants did pretty well (although they may not say so but that is the Greek way!)  I enjoyed meeting new people but felt that I missed out on the beautiful summer and the freedom that working from gives me so I am back and feeling happy.

I need to sit down and come up with some new goals and plans, I may wish to change the niche I am in but for now I am taking it slowly, I will get some blog posts written, go blog hopping and reconnect with some other bloggers. I may wait until the New Year to start my new goals and if that is the case I have a couple of months to get those goals and plans sorted.

This is a short post today just to say I am back and will be posting on a regular basis from now on.

Thanks for reading

Welcome back, Pauline! I was thinking about you, especially when we stopped in Heraklion, Sept. 19. It was VERY crowded, so I’m sure the tourist industry fared well. So sorry about your friends’ passing. That’s rough.
Looking forward to your next post. Cheers!

First time visitor, so it might sound odd saying welcome back. But it is good to see some one motivated again.

I know exactly what your talking about, losing the motivation. It can be a lonely place working online. Several years ago I got burnt out as well and took a day job. Didn’t take me long to remember why I liked working for myself. Guess that was my motivation :)

    Best to your success.
