Hope you are having a great Saturday, welcome to part 5 and the last part in the series List Building Mistakes To Avoid.
Not Setting Yourself Apart From The Crowd
It seems that every single day, I get dozens of emails in my inbox with the same exact subject line, and the same exact content, promoting the same exact product. Everyone simply takes the pre-made ads that they are provided with by the product owner and loads them into their AutoResponder.
No extra time is taken to make the emails different . . . nothing is done to set themselves apart from the crowd.
Think about this, if there are 30 – 40 people promoting the latest launch, what chance do you or I stand of making any sales if everyone receives the same exact email from dozens of people?
You’ll see your best results if you can set yourself apart from the crowd. Do something different . . .
1 Use a different subject line (always do this!)
2 Change the body of the email, even if you just reword most of it
3 Offer your own additional bonuses
4 Write an honest review of the product, and give your readers content
5 Give your readers several ideas to start using the product right away, and show them how they will benefit from the product.
Any of those will help to set you apart from everyone else that uses the same emails.
Do something different. Even if you are promoting a big launch that dozens of other people are going to be promoting, you can take one of the suggestions above and make your promotion different, and stand out from the rest.
You’ll definitely see a difference in your response rate, and in your bank account.
Don’t think that just because the product owner provides you with pre-made ads that you must use them. You don’t. You know what works best for you list, what kind of style the respond to – if you’ve been testing and tracking. Use that knowledge and put a unique promotion together, and you’ll see much better results.
As always I would love to hear from you so please leave your comments below, hope you all have a great weekend.
To your success
Thanks for reading
