Why I Have Not Written A Blog Post For A While

sad_face-600x4501

I have not been active here for a  couple of weeks, I have been going through some tough times but I am back and wanted to tell you why I have been away.

Have you ever had times when you just want to hide away and just be alone? well I am normally an upbeat lady and do not let anything get me down but the past couple of weeks have changed all that.

I received some bad news and thought ok I can cope with this and carry on, but then things just went from bad to worse and I felt I could not continue to carry on with my business for a while. I needed to focus on myself and my family before anything else in order to pull myself out of this, I was feeling worse every day and could not shake off this awful sadness.

After a week of doing no work I thought to myself I can get over this and so I began to reply to comments that my readers had left for me, but guess what more bad news arrived, I found out that a friend who had been given the all clear from cancer last year had been told it had returned and there was nothing the doctors could do for him…..boy that just knocked me for six, my husband too, we were left in shock!

I am sure there are many people who have gone through the same type of thing and maybe still going through this, so if so you can relate to how I have been feeling, I have not felt like doing much of anything, could not get myself motivated.

sad-face

Over the weekend my husband and I have spoken about all that has happened and we decided that we must move forward, life goes on and we must too, so here I am back with you all again.

It happened that I was just about to write a batch of posts and schedule them in, if that had been the case then I would have had my posts going out at the regular schedule but hey that did not happen so I hope you will all come back to visit me, I thanks you all in advance in the hope you have forgotten me and my blog :)

I would also like to ask if anyone would be interested in writing a guest post for me? I am going to start posting a guest post here at the end of every month so I would love to hear from you if you are interested.

Once again I would like to say thanks to all my readers and hope you will understand why I have not been around and visiting you at your blogs.

I will be back later in the week with a new post so be sure to look out for it.

To your success

Thanks for reading

Pauline

Wow, sounds like a lot to deal with. Glad to hear you are managing and starting to push through.

Sometimes the only way to get out of a rut like that is to just force your way out by taking a little action and it sounds like that’s what you’re doing. It’s easy to focus on the negative but usually that only breeds more of it.

Best wishes and hope things start to turn around for you!

So sorry for your news and completely understand. I lost my partner to cancer last year and just wanted to hide away and give it all up. There didn’t seem any point in going on.

No, I haven’t got over it, and probably never will. However, after Christmas the time felt right to re-motivate myself, as John was a fighter too and wouldn’t expect me to quit. I can almost hear him telling me off if he thought I’d given up, he was so supportive of my online work.

    Keep your chin up.
